The Colored Pencil Society of America is a nonprofit organization formed in 1990, with about 20 District Chapters around the United States dedicated to artists working with colored pencil. District Chapter 201 was the very first district chapter, also formed in 1990 under the national organization. More about our chapter.

33rd Annual CPSA International Exhibition - 2025
ENTRY PERIOD Now OPEN
December 15–March 31 2025
This annual gallery exhibition takes place each summer and is exclusively for works done in 100% colored pencil. It offers over $20,000 in cash awards, including a prestigious Best of Show (CIPPY) Award. In addition to the gallery exhibition, the selected artwork and award winners are featured on the CPSA website and in the CPSA news magazine.
Each year, the show is held in a different city to give more people the opportunity to enjoy colored pencil as a fine art medium. The annual CPSA convention also takes place near the gallery during this period.
