I have always loved to draw. I started drawing with graphite pencils when I was fifteen. Years later, I saw colored pencils in an art store and decided to try them. I was very impressed with the brilliant colors I could make by blending and burnishing colors together. The pencils' consistency was so smooth and soft it almost felt like I was painting. My favorite subjects are animals and flowers.
I studied art in college and then worked as a technical illustrator for Freightliner for 14 years. Now I love my job as an educational assistant in kindergarten and, in my spare time, continue to draw. I am a 5-year merit signature member of CPSA.
